Ms. Diane Blackman
Professionally, Diane has spent many years as a travel consultant, preceded by teaching in the secondary schools of San Francisco, fundraising at KHET public television in Honolulu, and working for Citibank in New York.
A longtime advocate for the healthy physical, emotional, and spiritual development of children, Diane's past Board experiences include: The San Francisco Boys & Girls Club, Project Discover, The Branson School Board of Trustees, St. Anselm School Management and Finance Board, Masque Unit Junior Theater of Marin, and the presidency of the Junior League of San Francisco. She served as President of the Board of the California Health and Research Foundation and coordinated the record breaking relay run from San Francisco to Washington D.C., promoting a drug free America.
Diane believes mentoring to be the most viable solution to the challenges facing the youth of today. Her current interests revolve around theatrics and pursuing child development through the arts. She performs with two Bay Area children's theater companies and serves on the Board of the Children's Theater Association of San Francisco. She lives in San Rafael with her husband, Richard, and has three grown children.
